Week 7 Net YPP -
stupac2 - 10-17-2016
I neglected to do this the past couple weeks, both because (like most of our fanbase) I was a bit demoralized, but also I just forgot. Anyway, here we are.
| Team | OYPP | DYPP | NYPP |
| UW | 7.48 | 4.42 | 3.06 |
| Colorado | 6.34 | 4.61 | 1.73 |
| UCLA | 5.61 | 4.63 | 0.98 |
| USC | 6.22 | 5.36 | 0.86 |
| ND | 5.97 | 5.52 | 0.45 |
| Oregon | 6.87 | 6.44 | 0.43 |
| Cal | 6.44 | 6.14 | 0.3 |
| WSU | 6.15 | 5.98 | 0.17 |
| Utah | 5.49 | 5.59 | -0.1 |
| Arizona | 6.16 | 6.27 | -0.11 |
| OSU | 5.02 | 5.27 | -0.25 |
| Stanford | 5.19 | 5.63 | -0.44 |
| ASU | 5.32 | 6.66 | -1.34 |
A few notes:
1) Wow we look really bad.
2) How the hell did we manage to beat 3 of the top 5 teams by this metric, yet got blown out by #8? This team is confusing.
3) Colorado doesn't look like a pushover, then again they lost to USC, then again USC has the Alabama albatross around its neck which presumably matters here.
4) UW is really the class of the conference.
5) Sorry for the formatting, I'm not sure why the software doesn't pad the table. Yvonne, any chance you can look into that at some point, minor though it is?

Well, that is partly because we have been bad, partly because we have played the Sagarin ranked hardest schedule in the country.

Largely because we played very poorly vs WSU, probably the worst performance of the year.
There were also a few things stacked against us: it was a bad game to have your starting CBs out and the best thing WSU does on defense is stop the run.
