That's pretty, um... Big news :PÂ
It was great to see his emergence and progress as the line play finally stabilized some in the second half of the season - congrats, Nate!

I've said this before, but I want the equipment manager to replace the "R" on his jersey for "S" just once, because HESBIG. :P

How crazy would it be for teams to let their athletes put SFW nicknames on their jerseys for one game? (I'm sure the NCAA might take notice...)

Pour yourself a tall one... - Redrum - 12-19-2016
...then sit back and imagine an OL with Herbig, Little, Sarell. Throw in a scrappy Dalman and dream about ramming the ball down USC, Cal and NDs throats.

Dream of a CFP game where we destroy an Alabama defense :)

In all the fantasies about guys who have yet to enter a college in any manner (or even decide which one to attend), one might remember there are many guys already on the roster.
In particular, the 2016 OL class was considered possibly the second best in Stanford history (behind 2012), and contains several guys beyond Herbig who presumably have designs to play one day. And if you are thinking into the future, they all now have eligibility for one year longer than does Herbig:
Devery Hamilton (Scout's #10 OT - steal from Michigan)
Clark Yarborough (ESPN's #12 OT)
Henry Hattis (Scout's #23 OT)
Dylan Powell (Rival's #39 OG)
Matt Gutwald (a walk-on, but UA, UO, OSU, WSU offered scholarships)
