Good grief - Lot 2 parking is now $360! - qwerty49 - 02-14-2017

Apologies if this has been addressed before, but I started to renew my season tix and I just had to grouse about parking now costing $60/game.

I hope they charge those big ol' RVs more -- but I suspect not.

Is parking at Paly still $20? Better egress too? (but no tailgating...)  :(

Parking on the other side of Palm drive is free.  You get a beautiful walk through campus to boot.  Just saying.

I think economists call this price discrimination.

Or perhaps, value-based pricing.

I park in the Tresdidder lot and always enjoy the walk through campus as well.

last year overnight passes in lot 2 were double the cost of day of the game passes ($100 vs $50 as I vaguely recall) so my guess is this year overnight passes are $120/game

you can bring in an RV with either an overnight or day of the game pass but they seem to mostly be the former.

if you buy seats with a required donation you can get a discount on a lot 2 pass  :)

When I first read this topic, I thought that Good Grief was somehow to blame.

Well, here is one positive.  Family plan tickets (2 adult and 2 child GA tickets for the end zones) cost $412 this year, which is quite a bargain (comes out to $103 per ticket, which, for 7 games, comes out to $15 per game).  That's the same price they were in 2016 and the same price they were in 2015.  The price in 2014 was $396, which means that over three years, they have gone up by a total of 4%.

Yeah, my seat-mate and I decided to give up the pass and hoof it. We have a couple of tailgates we can socialize at and $30 apiece per game goes a long way toward, say, a steak at Sundance.
