MMQB on Thomas - stupac2 - 04-18-2017

Nice little article with some cogent positional analysis and yet more of the "Stanford is a special place" stuff we can't get enough of: http://mmqb.si.com/mmqb/2017/04/18/nfl-draft-solomon-thomas-stanford-cardinal-position-defensive-end-tackle

Re: MMQB on Thomas - Bruce Wang - 04-18-2017

Thanks for posting!  Since King Solomon's sophomore year, I've wondered why he didn't play as a true frosh like Phillips did.

Can you tell us where this question was answered, I seem to have missed it.
(Perhaps the part about being 240 pounds when he showed up at Stanford?)

I don't think it was answered, I believe Publius was saying how it continues to astound him. (Me as well, though in 2014 I don't think our defense was a big problem.)

Probably you have answered the question. Another contributing factor (that others on this board may be able to answer, I can't) is that Thomas may have bulked up significantly during 2014. Anybody know?
