Quick conference note - washingtonismoney - 04-24-2017

Stewart Mandel has some interesting comments on Oregon in his latest podcast episode: https://soundcloud.com/the-audible/421-tom-hermans-pricey-new-texas-locker-room-more-spring-visits-the-mailbag

Says Taggart told him the defense was "pretty weak" and implied his USF defense was physically stronger and tougher. Mandel called Oregon a "complete rebuilding job"

Around 10 minutes in or so.

Interesting that in the entire conversation, neither Mandel nor Feldman ever once raised the thought that Taggart's comment might have a hint of expectation-lowering but only discussed, in great detail, how Oregon could have come to this just two years after appearing in the national title game.
