Pac 12 Coaching Hot Seats -
CTcard - 06-21-2017
One of Wilner's usual off season articles is on the level of job security for the Pac 12 coaches.
Here is this year's edition:

A few items of note:
Both coaches in the state of Arizona are in trouble. That's obvious.
McIntyre was given a $100K fine and a new $16.25 million contract almost simultaneously. I guess that means he's not going to get fired over the not reporting domestic violence thing. Still, it might fester if he starts losing again.
Kyle Whittingham is completely safe according to Wilner. That should be true, but I have heard rumblings of a poor relationship between Whittingham and his AD. Of course if Whittingham opts out, it's not a hot seat issue.
Andersen, has a seat Wilner describes as having a "damp, heavy chill". That seems to be true from what I have heard coming out of Oregon, but Andersen must be living under one of the easiest grading curves in the FBS. OSU's final three years under Riley were: 9-4, 7-6, 5-7. Under Andersen they've gone 2-10, 4-8. I suppose strictly speaking that matches Wilner's comment that "Andersen has OSU on the proper trajectory after just two seasons". While I understand it hasn't happened yet, I have to wonder how long before Beav fans starting pining for the good old days of Mike Riley.
