I can't help thinking of the book from many years ago, "When Bad Things Happen to Good People." What a horrible thing to happen to what a truly good person. :'(

This one hurts. The adversity he had to overcome to get where he did is really impressive. I kept tabs on him from a distance as an inspiration to myself and out of curiosity to see how far he would go.
