TreeCast w/Mike Tyler & Angela Holder - troyc - 09-15-2017

The latest TreeCast podcast is up! Believe it or not, there were actually some positives I took away from Stanford's loss to USC last week. Also, LB Mike Tyler takes us inside the defensive huddle as the Card get ready to head to San Diego State. And with Alijah Holder facing his twin brother (and Aztec WR) Mikah, their mother Angela Holder joins us to preview Saturday from a truly unique perspective. Plus, a moment on Murph. Listen via the link below, and enjoy!

I know what you mean... But you can make it download-able with a Firefox browser extension, one of several. "Video DownloadHelper" works like a charm.

They're downloadable via the Cardinal Sports Radio app.

Not on iTunes.....yet.

Good trivia question.
How many games can you remember Stanford facing a team with a player whose brother was playing for the opposition?
I can remember two cases.

Darrin Nelson's brother Kevin was on UCLA's team when Darrin was a senior.

Also, Nnamdi Asomugha was at cal when Chijioke was at Stanford.

Well, this year we will face two.  Holder v. Holder and St. Brown v. St. Brown when we play Notre Dame.

Brennan and Cameron Scarlett (Stan and C.al).

There were a couple I wasn't aware of (didn't think of).
The other one was Toby and Garth Gerhart.

I am pretty sure that Cameron never faced off against Brennan, at least at Stanford/c.al.

Brenan's grad year at Stanford was Cameron's redshirt frosh year.

Angela Holder is an inspirational mother for both kids although I believe she is leaning Stanford's way due to a chance to make the playoffs and a real chance to play on January 1.

Indeed part of the reason Brennan wanted to come to Stanford was to play with his brother.  Of course, had he stayed at cal, they would have played one another.
