Quick test - try to draw the current Pac 10 logo.  I don\'t think that the new one (sans bars) will be any more or less memorable.

A ritual as old as the Cult of the CEO.   The new Illuminated One goes around peeing on everything old.

If, instead of Commish of the Pac-10, Scott had been named CEO of a modest mailorder seed company in the Midwest,  his first move would have been to rename it "Trigicon"  and buy a G-5 corporate jet.   It\'s what they do to give the illusion of moving forward by power of their immaculate will alone.
