The forecast on 11/4 in Pullman, WA? 29-39 and SNOW - Snorlax94 - 10-27-2017

Last I saw kickoff could be at 12:30 or after dark. Unless Wazoo loses to Arizona, I imagine it will be another midnight game.

The snow could follow 2 days of rain.

Of course it’s hard to forecast the weather this far out, we can check again in about a week.

Assuming Love can play, I wonder how snow affects the match ups? I think snow is more favorable than rain. I imagine Bryce could run better in the snow. But rain did seem to pose problems for Faulk.

I don’t recall seeing Chryst throw much in the rain, besides the Rice game last year. I think he threw pretty well if I remember correctly? I remember how Hogan threw so poorly in the rain despite the fact that he came from Virginia.

One more worry about very cold weather: I worry about players getting stiff and then getting injured.

If the forecast is that bad, I have to believe it will be an earlier kick. If the networks put this game in the late slots it will just be further evidence of East Coast Bias

I really doubt the weather is going to influence the network decision on kickoff time. Unless a hurricane cancels the game (now there’s your East Coast Bias for you).

Actually if Love is healthy I'd rather have snow. Would totally neutralize Falk and make Love even more challenging to tackle

Snow will not totally neutralize Falk.  Rain and wind might, but not snow.

One of the greatest QB performances I have ever seen was Drew Bledsoe leading WSU to a big upset over UW in the snow on a frozen field in Pullman.  The conditions completely neutralized UW's pass rush, and gave the receivers a big advantage on a slippery surface.

Wonder when's the last time we played a game in snow? ::)

Thunder-chik -- What room in Rinc? I was in 106.

As for the substance of this thread, it seems like quarterbacks complain the most about wind and rain. What they hate the most is an inability to get a consistent grip on the ball. Since our quarterback already has accuracy issues, perhaps this would even things out a bit?

3rd floor, all the way back, courtyard side.  Lovely view of a liquidambar tree.
