I assume he is done for the season as that looked like a major industry. Major blow to us as he is our best cover corner. There is a big drop off between Holder to Murphy or Antoine as we saw last year versus the Washingtons when Holder went down. We could really use Holder versus Falk and Browning.

Well, was Antoine playing last year? I think Alexander and Murphy had to step up when Meeks and Holder went down. I'm still having a hard time getting over that injury especially given that the drive should have ended. I'd like to think Holder makes a full recovery and that Murphy, Antoine and/or Alexander are playing at a higher level than last year's backups to Holder and Meeks.

Last year, Buncom, Alexander and Murphy filled in when Holder and Meeks went down. This year it is Antoine and Murphy. I think it is still a big step down which is not a slight on Antoine and Murphy but rather a statement of how good I think Holder is.

My thought as Holder was being taken off the field was about how unlucky he's been with injuries. I'm sure he'll find success in the NFL, but he's dealt with a fair amount of frustration in college.

Yes. I think he injured his shoulder last year tacking a SoKal tight end.
