Otani signs with the Angels, Stanton not coming.
I think they should go after Ozuna and Yelich from the Marlins instead of Martinez. Obviously Miami liked somebody because they accepted the Stanton trade that won't happen. They can have Strickland and a few others and Panik would replace Gordon.
IPAD spell check sucks too as do the juvenile substitutions for hated opponents.

Unfortunately, Ohtani to an AL team makes so much more sense. Added bonus, they don't black out LAA games here like they do SFG games! I'm looking forward to watching how the 23yr old fares and develops in the Bigs. 8)

Giants need outfield hitting, but Im glad they whiffed on Stanton. The number of years left on that deal is ridiculous.

Agree on Ozuna and Yelich; glad the Giants didn't sign Stanton (and hope they don't).
I'd like the Giants o keep Panik, though . . .

For the record, I am actually sorry that he didn't choose the San Francisco Giants, the first team he chose to meet with, even including Bochy and Posey.

How about 3B Mike Moustakos and free agent WAR leader, Lorenzo Cain, both from KC? Moustakos has 38 HRs, Cain hit .300 and stole 26 bases and plays CF.
BTW, just as an aside, did anyone else find it odd that Angel Pagan received NO offers last year, after having a better than average year at the plate with a career high in HRs?

Pagan was a terrific player but teams were afraid of his age and his long history of injuries.
