Interesting. I think the draft underrates Herbig some (if he goes); offensive guards are starting to get a lot of NFL draft love, and Herbig will have been a three year starter. I'm also surprised that they have JJ Arcega Whiteside higher than Kaden Smith, and given the fact that Meeks didn't get drafted, I'm surprised Holder is in the top 100.
But not a bad list this far out.

OK, Burkett is who I had been thinking of as the weak link on the OL. If even Burkett is considered a Top 100 NFL prospect, the OL will likely be the best in the NCAA.
This list doesn't include LB Bobby Okereke who seems poised for a breakout season that would absolutely get him drafted.

In 2016, Burkett had some games where he got blown up a few times. I didn't see that in 2017. Hopefully, 2018 will be even better. If it is, being a "top 100" is entirely reasonable. I am not sure how one really rates centers though. Perhaps it is like officials. If you don't know their name, they are doing a good job.

Pretty amazing that 5 of our 11 starters on our offense next year are projected to be in the top 100 among draft prospects. I think Alabama and Ohio State were the only other schools with 6 players in the top 100 but they didn't have 5 from one side of the ball.
No surprise on my end that Holder was listed. When he played, he was our most impactful DB in my opinion. Our defensive stats in games with and without him two years ago would seem to back that up. The coaches let him play more press coverage than our other corners and the entire look of our defense is much better with him.

Walker Little would probably be on the top 100 list as well except that he is not draft eligible next year. Lots of elite talent on the offensive side of the ball.
I hope that the scheme puts them in a position to be successful. It is tough for even the best players to be successful if the defense knows what's coming every play.

1) Unsurprised Burkett got listed. He's very good.
2) Keep in mind that while five players got listed, there are a number of young players who are either new or ineligible. Little will be a big-time prospect and Costello and Wedington are on track to have nice futures. (Others like Parkinson, St. Brown, Sarell, etc. are still very nice prospects too.)
3) of course the defense won't be able to stop anyone (or at least that's my current projection), so a lot of high-scoring games

I'm surprised that Trent Irwin isn't on here.

Burkett was definitely more solid in 2017 - in particular looked stronger as you noted.
However, he was still subbed out for short yardage situations. That can't be a positive indicator.
It wasn't for his predecessor.
[Weird issue with the new board. Within the editor, it doesn't allow me to use arrow keys or highlight-cut-paste across paragraphs. Is that intentional or a bug? ]

I remember something about a lower-back injury made it tough for him to get low enough in short yardage situations?

After a little investigation ...
multiple pc's running Windows 10.
Seems to work in Firefox.
The scrolling/highlighting between paragraphs doesn't work in Microsoft Edge.

Just tried it out and can confirm, this does seem to be an issue with Edge. @Yvonne, does the board manager have any info on this?
