Frank Duffy at SS.  Reyolds I think played more OF
McCarty at 1B
Steve Dunning at P

Two thoughts...

Pitcher - Mike Messina has to be in the mix.

Special mention —— Most famous big league HR by a Stanford alum: Brian Johnson!

Bob Boone at catcher?

I would suggest Steve Buechele at 2B and perhaps Aldrete in the outfield.  Two-time all star Carlos Quentin in the OF.  Four time allstar Bob Boone at Catcher.  Mussina and McDowell at P.  BTW, Drew Storen's career MLB WHIP is 1.195, which is borderline amazing.

Buechele played 3B.

So Many greats

If you're going on Stanford record alone, McDowell > Mussina. McDowell was conference freshman of the year and a two-time All American. Also was #1 pitcher on the '87 national championship team. Mussina was never an All American.

Arguments could be made for Mark Appel or Jeremy Guthrie, who were the only other two-time All Americans at pitcher.

I'll give the nod to McDowell for winning a natty.
