Stanford 2020 golf commit Karl Vilips (Australia/Saddlebrook Prep, Tampa) just wrapped up an eight-under 62 to take a nine stroke lead in the Wyndham Cup. Vilips' remarkable round included a holes 7-12 stretch of 3-2-3-3-3-3.
And lest someone surmise he accomplished this over a relatively easy "junior" course, the 6,900+ yard course rates at 74.4 with a slope of 141.
