I don't get the NBA. The best players are maxed out on what they can make, so a bunch of *not* best players get paid as much. Meanwhile, benchwarmers get paid ridiculous amounts of money, and Brook Lopez gets only a $3.4 million deal. I'm not crying for Brook, he's going to be just fine. But I simply do not get the NBA.

To compete with the Warriors most teams can't play bigs. That leaves a lot of them on the market. It's also a bad year to be a free agent since so few teams have cap space. Next year will be better for them.
