Women's Volleyball - BobK - 08-25-2018

Stanford starts their season tomorrow, Sunday in DC against American. Game time is 1PM PDT and there are Live stats or watch the stream. American is favored to win their league, Potential RPI is 60-70 or so, and they beat George Mason yesterday 3-0 and play George Washington today.

Then Monday at 4PM PDT Stanford plays Howard. Howard is also favored to win their league, RPI maybe 70-80. Live tats only it appears. Howard beat George Washington 3-0 yesterday. They play George Mason today.

Stanford is ranked # 1 in the nation. As of the Dinner and all tuesday we are healthy.

Nadia’s family moved to DC about the time she started at Stanford. Career military if I recall correctly.

Since no autocorrect it was my typo. Or memory

It looks like Fitzmorris has moved to OPP. From the stats, it seems to be working well. Campbell must be pretty good.

Yes. Only two matches into her junior year, so she's on pace for close to 2000 career, putting her among the top 3 all-time at Stanford.

It will be on BYU-TV, which is in my cable package, so I'll be DVRing it. Maybe a replay will be available on their web site too. Their site requires signup with an email address, but it's free for anyone.

Stanford is at home finally with a 4-1 record the only loss to now # 5 BYU. We play Penn State Friday night after the Oregon-Minny game then at Noon on Sunday against Minny.

Recruiting wise Stanford will sign for 2019 the #'s 2, 3, 5 and 10 players in the nation.

WVB over Texas twice in one week, 3-0 on Tuesday at home and 3-1 Friday at Texas. They are the real deal!

The service errors were a brobdingnagian concern against Texas with 17 errors compared to just 4 aces. It's a good thing Tami Alade decided to come alive and Holly Campbell had herself a great game. Alade had 14 kills on a .650 attack percentage. Pretty stellar stuff.
