Starting safety Bubba Bolden rumored to be suspended for 2 years. And his backup, Ykili Ross, decided to grad transfer last week because he lost the starting spot...bad timing.

Bolden was suspended a week ago. The starting safety vs UNLV was redshirt frosh Isaiah Pola-Mao who led the team in tackles.

#USC held Toa Lobendahn out of practice today, Chuma Edoga and Austin Jackson were limited. Jackson is dealing with tendonitis in his knee. Clay Helton thinks he'll be available for Saturday.

I'm certainly no expert, and I'm only aware of two situations that were two year suspensions.  They had a sexual harassment/assault component that could not be proven to a court-of-law standard, but essentially one party was barred from school until the other graduated.

I'm NOT saying that's the case here or speculating that's the case.  I'm just saying that's my very limited knowledge of such a suspension.

It’s about the slippery slope that it leads down. The comment itself wasn’t that big of a deal (although inaccurate since Manafort hasn’t been sentenced yet. I think Phogge was thinking of Papadopoulos), but it opens the door to other people sticking in their political views which gets annoying because all people who don’t agree with me are wrong. So I prefer to keep the political comments out

Mick's guess seems as good as any. I've certainly never heard of someone being suspended for more than 1 year but not expelled.
