Elsewhere in college football - BostonCard - 09-15-2018
Florida State scores its first touchdown against a BCS opponent in 114 minutes. Against Syracuse. Syracuse is beating FSU 23-7 with their back-up QB.
Nebraska lost to Troy 24-19. Not a very auspicious start to the Scott Frost era at Nebraska; they are 0-2 with losses to Colorado and Troy.
UDFG is up 10-0 on Vanderbilt. Hoping for a Commodores comeback.

BYU 21-14 at Wiscy near the end of the 3rd qtr.

Cougars nail the Badgers 24-21. Big blow to Big 10 prestige, especially since BYU lost to the Bears last weekend.

For everyone talking up Oregon, they are only up 21-6 against San Jose State, with SJSU driving at the start of the third. For the record, UC Davis beat SJSU on the road in Week 1. I am not saying our performance today was necessarily good, or on the other hand, that we should be the definitive favorite next week. However, I think the Ducks are definitely beatable, even on the road in Eugene. I expect the game to be pretty tight throughout though.

Pac-12 prestige take a blow.
One species of Tigers was bound to win, but it was LSU that carried the day against Auburn today (22-21), which further diminishes the close loss by the Huskies in week #1.

SJSU just scored a TD on a fade to the back corner of the end zone. Nice to see.
Auburn talented but undisciplined on defense. It showed on the go-ahead drive (for LSU).

Final was 35-22, Oregon. Lot closer than I wanted it to be.
