The reputation system has been adjusted so that members can give at most three reputation points per person per day. This is to encourage people to give reputation to those who make multiple useful posts in a given day (you know who they are) or in rarer cases, members who post spam or useless missives. This can be further reduced if members abuse the reputation privilege.

In addition, I've created a membership category for those who abuse this privilege. Those placed in this category will not be allowed to give reputation.
