WBB: Sniezek Out 6-8 Weeks -
triangle2 - 10-12-2018
Sniezek has a torn thumb ligament on her right hand. Per Fitzgerald: "Whoever takes the spot, Sniezek’s injury 'definitely throws somebody into the deep end of the pool,' VanDerveer said."
Fitzgerald speculates that Williams, Brown, or Lacie Hull are options to move into the point guard role.

Injuries are never a good thing. On the one hand, this gives us a couple of months for our young point guards to get some practice against non-league teams. But hopefully Marta will be back by early December so she can help against Baylor and Tennessee.
I would guess that Williams will play point in all the tough spots while Brown and Lacie get some experience against the likes of Davis and Idaho. There should be a lot of playtime for Carrington, Wilson and Brown and we will just have to see who emerges as our best 2 guard.
I really hope to see Anna Wilson blossom this year :)

I am thinking of a starting lineup of:
1. Williams
2. Brown
3. Carrington
4. Smith
5. Dodson
with substitutions as necessary. Obviously, we haven't seen the team play and how much progress the players have had over the summer, but I wouldn't be mad if that was what Tara started out with.

Wish I could, but I spent all my money on season tickets.
