I guess the fair catch rule didn’t have its intended effect, and “too many” kick offs are still being returned.  I’m starting to agree with CT that if you really think kick offs are dangerous, then maybe the answer is to do away with them?

On that note, has there been a time this season we returned from the endzone and got to the 25 yard line?

One slight problem with this: what about the onside kick?  This is a fundamental element of late game tactics.  Also, think of Nick Saban's dare during the Clemson game back in 2015.  He wanted to flip the momentum and decided to take the risk at 10 minutes to go in the 4th quarter.  I would hate to miss that drama in the future.

Scarlett to the 32 vs Utah
Love to the 25 vs ND
Maddox to the 36 vs Oregon
Love to the 36 vs Oregon
Fisk to the 30 vs UC Davis (awful kick/intentional squib)

Still not very good, but at least there have been 5.
