Kevin Hogan now QB2 in Denver - ColoradoTree - 10-24-2018

Not because he outplayed Chad Kelly in practice or anything, but because Chad Kelly has now been released following an early morning arrest for drunkenly breaking into someone’s house.  It was his first mishap as a Denver Bronco, but given his history, his leash was as short as it gets. 

They’ll bring someone in, but it’s not clear whether he’ll displace Hogan or be a practice squad guy. But for now, Hogan is QB2 on a team where the starter isn’t inspiring a lot of confidence.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Kelly is experiencing CTE symptoms. Uncontrollable rage, substance abuse issues, and incoherent outbursts are all hallmark symptoms.

I get why people always jump to this conclusion, but now Kelly's been kicked off of his high school, college, and NFL teams for behavioral issues. Maybe he was exhibiting symptoms of CTE when he was 17, but some guys just have problems.
