A sad day.
My next story is on Oregon and I’ll post directly to my blog so when we play our league teams we will have a reference. The blog will be there

Very sad and all the best to Marian -- the site was a true labor of love. I hope some its features can somehow be preserved somewhere (especially the comprehensive "where are they now" listing of Stanford WBB alumnae).

I am devastated. The Fast Break Club was a tremendous resource to Stanford WBB fans and it had become integral to my enjoyment of the game. From the scouting reports to the gathering of post-game reports and commentary, the site took a two hour long game and turned it into several days of enjoyment. Plus there was a lot of very good writing on the site!
I am so, so sorry that the site is coming to an end
Thank you Marian for the very fine work you have done for so many years. It has been deeply appreciated and will now be sorely missed.

I'll echo the sentiment. As an out of state fan, I truly looked forward to finding information and tidbits that provided wonderful insight to the team. I will miss this site, and I wish Marian all the best and a very special season as she hopefully continues to watch Stanford from the sidelines.

Ah, geez. As 81 said, it's devastating. It has been such a pleasure. My daily visit will be a hard habit to break.

Adding to my sentiments about Marian and the site. All the best to her.
Just wondering if it would be possible for somebody else to take over and maintain the site? With the plethora of information it provides and the connections from the fan/alumni community it makes, it would be a shame for it to be completely dismantled.
