Browning remains the starting QB, but it doesn’t sound like Petersen is enamoured with his senior QB. What happened? Has he regressed?

I’m sure our secondary will fix anything that ails Browning.

Browning has regressed significantly from two years ago when he led UW to the P12 title and college football playoffs.
He was not good at all in the game on the Farm last year.
I suspect that a lot of UW fans feel that they would be undefeated today if they had a better QB.

Anyone have insight as to why his performance has declined?

They have Eason from Georgia sitting out the season as a transfer. A five star recruit. Has two years of eligibility.

Playing QB is a lot harder when you don’t have world-class athletes John Ross and Dante Pettis as wideouts.

Totally agree. It is also not clear that the coaching has been great. On one Cal board people are suggesting that Tedford really coached up Browning, and when he left, things went downhill. No idea to what degree that is true, but Browning is more "Dear in the headlights" than I would expect for a senior.

The only QB Tedford ever coached up is Joey Harrington.
