Stanford apparently led the league in "notable snubs"

Brady over Luck is a Lifetime Achievement Award. Never know when it's gonna be his last. But comparing stats this is a no-brainer
Barkley over McCaffrey is more East Coast Bias. 6.05 ypp vs. 5.91 - not even close. McCaffrey is also a much more versatile threat and would be far more exciting to showcase in a Pro Bowl.

Barkley is pretty hard to argue with. CMac would be the top back in the AFC. NFC is loaded at the position. One of the three (Gurley, Elliott and Barkley) will bow out. CMac should be the first alternate in.
As for Brady. He is about done.

Richard Sherman got snubbed in being a pro bowl alternate.

This take is funny. Brady's actually playing about as well as he did last year. It's just less obvious because:
1) The team around him is worse.
2) The other QBs in the league are better.
Brady appears to have declined on a relative basis, but his numbers are pretty similar (7.56 vs 7.37 ANY/A). Hell, he played worse in 2014 when they won the Super Bowl. It's certainly possible that his age is catching up to him in ways that are hard to quantify, but even then he's a top-5 PFF QB. So I'm not sure there's any reason to conclude anything about him now.
That's not to say that he definitely should get in over Luck, I don't really care and their numbers are pretty similar. Luck's a shoe-in as an alternate too, so it hardly matters.

I think Sherm was a borderline HOF'er before the season. Hard to say if getting into the Pro Bowl after a really tough injury would have been a major discussion point for HOF voters. I have no idea if other corners were truly more deserving, but just as a fan of Sherman this "snub" stings.
