Love and Tarik Cohen - winflop - 12-24-2018

If Bryce Love wants to have a successful NFL career, he should do everything he can to emulate Tarik Cohen.

I'd seen him on TV before and was pretty impressed, but got to see him live yesterday watching Da Bears beat the Niners. More than his versatility as a runner & receiver (Love MUST work on receiving), Cohen's vision & elusiveness are what Love needs to do in spades if he wants to make it in the NFL.

Love is a different type a runner than Cohen . There are a lot of people that said McCaffrey had to be a slot receiver. All he’s done is set the record for receptions by running back and a second in the NFL behind Eliot in yards from scrimmage.

I agree Love has to improve in receiving. But he’s versatile enough to be a good NFL back. Whether he’s an every down back is a different issue. He does certainly have to improve in all phases of the passing game

Love may not be the same as Cohen, but for him to be a primary back in the NFL he's going to have to be more like Cohen.

McCaffrey showed he could run between the tackles and take a pounding. Love hasn't, which for me means he will have to get into space - gee didn't we have a lot of people here talk about that this season???

This will be as much on his HC & OC as it is on him.
