MBB at OSU - JJJ - 02-07-2019

Just a quick reminder that the game has started airing on Pac-12 Networks. I'm DVR-ing it so can't really provide commentary, but in case anyone else wasn't aware and wanted to know.

Very aware and Stanford playing great up 33-22 with 7 to go in the first half

Stanford up at the half 48-35. DaSilva with 17.

Yeah, who kidnapped the Stanford team and replaced it with a vaguely competent one.  12/13 from the free throw line and turnovers under control.  But we haven’t been able to put them away, and I have a bad feeling...

Happy to hopefully be wrong.  Things kind of reverted there for a while, but OSU also got bogged down.

Up 22 Minute and a half yet

RE: MBB at OSU - BostonCard - 02-07-2019

Best win of the Haase era?

Nice game despite the lull in the middle of the second half.  Even as we struggled offensively, we clamped down defensively, and OSU couldn’t make a run.  Loved seeing the team out it out of reach with about 7 to go.

Very happy to have been wrong to doubt the team.  They didn’t just hang on to win, they put the Beavers away.

Wow! That's the team I had been expecting to see all year.

Strong performance with Oscar and Sharma leading the way.

Good to see, and hoping the good play continues the Quackers' arena.

RE: MBB at OSU - BobK - 02-07-2019

Great win. Hard to believe that we could beat a good team on the road like this. Now roast duck

TreesAndBirds - TreesAndBirds - 02-07-2019

Good news.....we’re 1 game out of 2nd place

Not as good news......there are 8 teams either tied for second place or w/i 1 game of second place.

RE: MBB at OSU - SamuelMcF - 02-07-2019

Whoever took the over got hosed. 83-60, O/U was 144...

RE: MBB at OSU - SamuelMcF - 02-07-2019

Hoping @Ducks on Sunday will snap our recent "bad game, then good game" pattern. (Beating the objectively terrible Weenies by 3 last game counted as a bad game, IMO.)

RE: MBB at OSU - JJJ - 02-08-2019

Pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed it! Da Silva and Sharma did the heavy lifting when KZ bore the brunt of their defensive attention. Even Sheffield got in on the scoring action! Hopefully Wills and Ryan make better decisions to make even more positive contributions.

RE: MBB at OSU - winflop - 02-08-2019

That was a great performance last night on the road against a decent team (there's only one really good team in the conference and a couple bad teams. The rest are decent). Really hope they back it up against the Ducks!!!

da Silva finally coming into his own and boy what a difference that makes with Davis & Okpala not having to shoulder the entire load. I think it will also open things up for Ryan as his health continues to improve with 3 guys who can take it to the hole.

Anyone know the health status of Daejon Davis?

He was shooting around in today’s practice. Saw it on Instagram. He looks just fine.
