Stanford Football Seat Selection Website - Snorlax94 - 03-16-2019

The Stanford Football season ticket add-on and relocation tool went live today.

A few observations:
1) I was a little surprised that the most expensive sections (like 112-114 on the shady side, which command the largest donations) were pretty full. I think the 200 level (like 213) had some blocks of available seats, but I'm glad to see it would *appear* that season ticket holders who had to make the largest donations have stuck around despite the change to the tax law.

2) I see more seats available in other, less expensive sections than last year.

3) Overall, the renewal rate would *appear* to be pretty good (presumably buoyed by this year's mega line-up and *7* home games, which gave an implicit price cut).

4) This year, based on my level of engagement, I can use the tool starting on 3/29 at 3pm. Last year I was at 11AM on the absolute last day. Am I still on the last day this year (if so, I guess my engagement level is sliding) or have I moved up a little bit? I'm in my 4th year of being a season ticket holder and make pretty small Buck donations each year.

You're not on the last day.

I'm on 4/1 at 2pm.  I've been a season ticket holder for ~10 years but I didn't do a Buck Club donation this year.

I'm not up until this Friday, but I already looked at the website and there's no better seats that I can move into. I will check again on Friday but I'm not worried. I like my seats plenty already.

so when does the reseating actually start?

I'm curious how my "level of engagement" measures up.  I'm not interested in moving and noted that there are few available seats in our section (134)

My entry time is 3/20/2019 at 11am

I've had football tix for 37 years (no other season tix), make a small gift to Buck/Cardinal each year and a bit larger gift to the University each year, and I'm an alum, but don't check the box on any of the other criteria

others in our group have entry times of

3/21/2019 at 11am (similar to me)
3/22/2019 at 11am (similar to me but shorter season ticket history)
3/25/2019 at 1pm (~20 years as a ticket holder, not an alum, no donations)

culled from the other posts in the thread

3/22/2019 at ??pm/am
3/29/2019 at 3pm (4 years as STH and small B/C donation)
4/01/2019 at 2pm (STH for ~10 years, no B/C donation)

Quote:The following criteria, not necessarily in this order, determine your level of engagement with Stanford University

  • Annual gifts to the Buck/Cardinal Club

  • Years of season ticket purchases in all season-ticketed sports

  • Total lifetime giving to Stanford Athletics

  • Total lifetime giving to Stanford University

  • Bequest intentions to Stanford Athletics

  • Volunteer service on an athletic or university board

  • Stanford alumnus/a

  • Former Stanford student-athlete

Well, despite my pretty-far-back spot in the queue I was able to upgrade my parking to Toyon Grove today. I have been eyeing that parking lot for 4 years...

say, yay for that. Also, I noticed a few more seats available this year, but I imagine there was a pent-up demand for moving around when the tool first launched.
