Tawa homered, Stowerr doubled, Dasch has a single early. Maybe the three are coming around.
Meanwhile, Oregon State has committed six errors in four innings, but leads Washington.

So far this team looks REALLY good. Now that the weather's improving, I'll have to get out and watch them :)

Washington took an interesting strategy against the Beavers:
Walk the four guys who can hit, pitch to the five who can't.
Seven walks to the first four Beaver hittters, and eighth to the fifth, two to all the others.
Beavers coach has tossed in the towel at 1st and 2d base, platooning two guys at each spot who can't hit.
DH similar problem.
The Beavers can pitch, however. Right now, the second best bullpen in college baseball,
comparable to ours but we have six relievers with ERAs under 1.60 and Grech, at 3.00,
has shown he can pitch.

The weekend wrap up for Pac 12 baseball.
Stanford sweeps WSU on the road. Goes to 6-0 in Pac 12, but have only played the bottom two teams (to be sure, they are the bottom two teams partly because they played Stanford).
Stanford has now won 9 in a row (sweeps of WSU, Utah, and final 3 vs Texas), and is 18-3 overall.
ASU swept UA to go to 8-1 in Pac 12. Final game was a 17-16 pitchers' duel. ASU has only lost one game, at Oregon. ASU has only played 4 games outside of Phoenix (3 at Oregon, 1 at Fullerton).
UCLA won a series at $C 2-1. Now 7-2 in conference, 20-5 overall.
OSU swept their series at UW to go to 6-3 in conference, 19-5-1 overall. That was a good series road sweep.
UW and UO are the other two teams over 0.500 in conference play at the moment, both 5-4. For the moment, neither look to me like title contenders.
