Tommy Edman - terry - 07-04-2019
The Cardinals called up Stanford's Tommy Edman a few weeks ago due to an injury to back-up infielder Jedd Gyorko. Last night, Edman had the game winning hit in the 9th inning, a pinch hit 3-run home run. A big moment for him.
For the season, Edman is hitting .278 (10 for 36) with 3 homers and .908 OPS. A nice start to his major league career.

But most importantly he had one two-run shot in the bottom of the ninth to win the Bloomington regional in 2014.

For the second straight game, Tommy Edman drove in the winning run, putting the Cardinals ahead with a two-run single in the 7th!

It seems like every time I turn on Sportscenter, they mention his name. Having a Sam Fuld-esque debut!
