Professor Al wasn’t a place kicker on Hawaii 5-0. He was a cop. Who was he’s boss Marty?

RE: Stanford trivia - Phogge - 08-15-2019

Nope Al reported to Squimin Herman Wedemeyer

Terry DaSilva started what 4-5 games ? Need stats my friend

Al Harrington was the starting running back

Read the question my friend. He started a few games in 1965. Harrington was a regular starter and a poor kicker. Missed two vs Oregon in 1957 that cost Stanford the Rose Bowl. Evil names: Crabtree, Shanley and the other RB who I can't remember. think it was 20-19 or close.

You owe me lunch on this Phogge lol

A part timer? Noooo

14-12. Al missed both extra points

All right he's a good one.

What Stanford player led the country in three distinct position categories?

RE: Stanford trivia - Phogge - 08-16-2019

Garrett in TD passes, interceptions as a safety and punting in 1953.

RE: Stanford trivia - BobK - 08-16-2019

PAT % is the kicking one.

Bobby Garrett one of the all time greats. Beat UCLA 21-20 in the first game I attended

Favorite Stanford player ever. Big Game tie kept Stanford out of the RB. He ran in an INT. In that game Chuck Taylor was criticized for pulling his first string with Stanford ahead. Great duel of Garrett vs Paul Larson.
