DSV Limiting Factor - BostonCard - 09-08-2019

No, not a reference to the offensive line, but I wanted to share this great story (which has some Stanford connections, including a Beat Cal flag on Mount EVerest).

The economist is usually paywalled, but you can get some stories free if you register. Long, but well worth the read if for no other reason than to distract from yesterday’s stinker.

Hmmm, the description in the Economist piece suggests that the weather was lousy when he went up, and that there was basically nothing to see. I wonder whether he went up again, or if the Economist overstated it, or if that’s not his picture.

In any case, credit to him for taking Beat Cal to the top of the world.
