The current average is right on my number. 33-24 bad guys. Don't know how we hold them to 33 or score 24, but I figured it's the first home game with kids on campus, so perhaps that will be worth a touchdown here or there.

I really don't care where I finish in this prediction game - I'm never picking against us, no matter how bad things might get. 

Plus, as long as Shaw's here, I know that we will have a resilient team and staff that does not get complacent, contrary to certain baseless accusations.

Sequoia sempervirens 31
[i]Anas platyrhynchos 30[/i]

For better or for worse, I will be in the air while the game is played and I won't land until 1:30 am Pacific on Sunday.  Hopefully I will be kicking myself for scheduling my flight on a Saturday.

I will be flying back on the 5th, so unless it is Pac-12 after dark, I will miss the Washington game as well.

Also, don't overlook the Beavers.  The woofing gods will smite you for it (plus, we've been so bad that I wouldn't automatically count on a win at Corvalis).

Did some joker predict Stanford to win 100-0 or something?  Because earlier Friday the prediction was Oregon 32 Stanford 26. Now it’s Oregon 21 Stanford 38?

I’d say flip who has 21 and 38 to be more accurate, but stranger things have happened.

Some joker?  You mean some hero. Looks like martyup has fallen on his sword valiantly for this entire board’s pride and salvation.  He is “red hot” and has predicted Oregon to score negative 420 against Stanford’s 480 points. That’s outstanding!

Yes, I grew tired of looking at the top of the board and seeing the lack of faith (on average) by this board for our football team.  But, alas, I have brought my prediction back to earth and changed it to something more reasonable.  I have us winning 48 to 42.

One nice thing about all of this is there is no significant penalty for being wrong.
So what the heck, pick Stanford to win.
Just because two lightly recruited opponent true freshman QB's made mincemeat out of our defense is no reason to think that a H-man candidate QB will.

Unfortunately, Ducks come in on jet skis and might be quickest team we have faced. 
Until I see that we can run the ball, I go: 
Anas Oregonus  34
Sequoians  20 
Cardinal ranks 11th in Total Yards per Game on Offense.  Only UCLA is worse. 
The last two games our Defense was shredded short and long in the Secondary.
