Congrats to all on this great team win - d4cohn - 10-06-2019

Thought with all of the talk on the board regarding Coach Shaw, Tavita and Coach Anderson, and the threads
bemoaning the state of affairs, Coach Shaw, Tavita and Coach Anderson deserved a thread for their masterful
coaching performance. Congrats to the players for playing outstanding tonight.

For me, I think one of the takeaways from tonight is to try to enjoy what we do have each season,
rather than bemoan what we don't have.

With the schedule much more favorable the rest of the way (1 ranked team in last 6, versus 4 in the last 5 games),
I think this team is potentially poised to go on a bit of a nice run (pending health of course).

Did the tigers change their stripes?  That's all we were looking for.  They put the kids in a position to win, and man did the kids come through.  That's what needs to happen every week.

Too bad so few saw it. Looked like the end of the WSU game in 2006 when the Cougs had about sixteen sacks.

What great news for this East Coaster to wake up to! (Game start time was my bedtime.) Yes, congrats to the team and coaches for a gritty win and for showing certain outsiders that Stanford isn't the flaming train wreck some purport it to be. Go Cardinal!!
