I tend to agree with him;  if you watch the NBA it's all about the 3. The women aren't at that point yet but everybody practices it, including post players; and 2 separate lines on the floor will be confusing

I'd agree with Geno if there were more very good three-point shooters in WCBB. I would define a very good shooter as someone who shoots above .400 - last season there were 38 D1 players who accomplished that over an meaningful number of attempts, out of 351 D1 teams. Even if you lowered that threshold to .390, you still get only 50 players. And quite frankly, as someone who likes watching the positionless basketball of the modern NBA, I don't feel like there's so many three-point sharpshooters out there that women's basketball has become a chucking contest. Having post players like Alanna Smith or Satou Sabally keeping defenses honest with credible three-point threats at the key is part of what makes WCBB so much fun to watch these days. 

(And BTW: the top ten single-seasons for Stanford WCBB three-point shooters were all .440 shooting rates or better. And nine of the top ten all-time career shooters were shot at .390 or better.)
