On the plus side, Stanford fans don't need to spend time wringing their hands over which players will sit out the bowl game.

With literally less than 30 seconds thought, I like:

Rose: Oregon vs. Wisconsin

Wisconsin. Very good defense.

Alamo: Utah vs Texas

Utah. Whittingham good in bowl games.

Holiday: USC vs Iowa

USC. Iowa not so good in bowl games.

RedBox: Cal vs Illinois

Cal. QB play is key.

Sun: Arizona State vs Florida State

Arizona State. Wants to be there much more than FSU.

Vegas: Washington vs Boise State

Washington. Big talent difference this year.

Cheez-It: Wazzu vs Air Force

Wazzu. Air Force defense has no chance.

My picks are Oregon, SC, Cal, ASU, and Wazzu win. Texas will win with decisive
home-field advantage in San Antonio, and Boise will win against a middling
UW side.

Instead we get to wring our hands over which other players will enter the transfer portal...

My wife, an Alabama grad, is already lamenting this will be the first time they have players sitting out, as they have nothing to play for. With as many as 7 potential first rounders sitting out, allegedly, Harbaugh might actually have a chance.

Hysterical. Shades of the Sugar Bowl vs. Utah a while back where they got punched in the mouth.

Yup, was a tough night in the household. But not nearly as tough as the year Alabama knocked us out of March Madness. Thank god I didn't have a daughter, dog or therapy kitten that night.
