Washington QB Jacob Eason declares for NFL draft.
I almost now feel like we have a shot in Seattle this fall.

I don't like to give clicks to Wilner, but a link to his twitter observation seems ok.

Garber’s brother who shredded Serra in the CA State D1 title game is headed to UDub. He’s a much better thrower than Chase. Perhaps Jake Haener made a mistake leaving. And Oregon’s “new” guy is future double Voldemort winner Butter II. Daniels at ASU and Slovis at SC are the class of the returning conference QB’s.

One of the comments claims that grad transferring to UW has the hurdle of early deadlines. Which would mean no Spring ball to get early reps.

I've wondered ever since that brutal hit Costello took in the Northwestern game whether he was the same player that he had been. Somehow I could never shake the impression that the hit got to his head in more ways than one. I'm still angry that the guy who did it wasn't thrown out of the game.

Since when did intentional forearms to the head of a sliding quarterback warrant an ejection?
I can't remember, were there Pac-12 officials in the replay booth?

I have to think he was a big disappointment to Washington fans. Terrific arm. But inconsistent. Made bad decisions. And I wasn’t overwhelmed with his accuracy.

Mills will be better than all of them if he stays healthy. Big if, I know. Phogge you’ve been Butterfields advance man for a couple years. Maybe next year we see what the fuss was all about.

Given that Washington was one of J.T. Daniels's top choices out of HS and also given all the gushing the U$C OC has been doing about Kedon Slovis lately, you wonder if J.T. might be rethinking his decision to stay out of the portal.

Since JT is a true soph doesn’t he have to sit out if he transfers?

So I guess the answer to the question is probably not.

I seem to recall we recruited Daniels. And there is a QB hole his year.

Daniels enrolled early at usc. At one point headed to Stanford. This would be interesting

Right -- Ethan Garbers threw for 5,000+ yds (70% Comp; 314y a game) his senior year at Corona Del Mar (16-0) with 71 TDs (monstrous).
-- AND 2,000 of those yards (!) with 32 TDs were to: OUR John Humphreys at WR. That's a lot. 32 TDs by a WR in H.S.?!

Calif Title game vs Serra. Garbers also ran for 142y in D-1A Champ game.

USC Defensive Coordinator Clancy Pendergast and Special Teams coach let go. Fans of USC say Helton should have been first.

SC is not going to announce it, but the reality is they have a few financial constraints and administrative challenges at the moment.
USC's NCAA Investigation
The "Aunt Becky" scandal and allegations may transform into NCAA investigations at some point too.
The stadium renovations were also over budget and interest in SC football is now soft as the 2 LA NFL teams are diligently trying get fans to their games. Oh, and the dazzling new SoFi stadium is almost ready to alter the existing landscape as it will be much more accessible and appealing to those with the financial means to buy pricey football tickets.
The new AD has bigger problems than fans upset over a coach that only has been to one Rose Bowl in the last 4 seasons.
