If you click the slide show at the bottom of the article, you get to a surprising (to me, at least) entry. Paulson Adebo was predicted to go in the first round to Denver with the 15th pick.

I missed an official draft declaration from Adebo. I assume this is an assumption that he declares. Perhaps someone can enlighten me. (The question mark key on my keyboard is broken right now, so I'm forced to type in absolutes.)

This year, the deadline for underclassmen to declare for the 2020 NFL Draft is on Jan. 20, plenty of time for some of college football's top talent to decide their immediate playing future. More than ever, those players have elected to leave early for the NFL.

If Adebo is really a first-round draft choice, he would be foolish to stay. I didn't see that level of play from him this year, but the again, I don't work for the NFL. It may be better to go while you are a first-round guy, because they may find out you aren't with another year at Stanford. Nothing to be gained by doing the experiment.
