Stanford T&F Preview: The Sprinters and Hurdlers
This is the second of a series on Stanford Track & Field for 2020. The first scheduled meet is Jan 18
I will list where an athlete might be on Stanford’s Top 10 of All Time by listing the position and AT for All Time.
WOMEN:
100/200: School Records: 60indoors= 7.21, Frosh 100= 11.44, AT 100= 11.15
Frosh 200= 23.43, AT 200= 22.78
Ashlan Best, Jr 11.64, 7.68i, 23.21 200 is # 4 AT
Carolyn Wilson, Jr 24.29.
Kennedy Gamble, RS So, 11,61, 7.56i, 23.84 Gamble did not compete outdoors this past season.
Mary Gillett, RS So, 12.21, 24.68
Alexa Rossum, Fr, 11.57, 7.40i, 23.43 Her 100 would be # 10 AT and her 200 # 7 AT
Megan Olomu, Fr 12.25w, 25.84
Very good group this year in the 100 even better in the 200
400:
School Records: Indoors 53.35, Frosh, 53.28, AT= 52.35
Ashlan Best, Jr 52.86 # 4 AT
Caroyln Wilson, Jr 53.60, 53.96i, 52.9r, # 11 AT outdoor, # 6 AT indoor
Sarah Walker, Sr 54.9r
Mary Gillett, RS So 55.12
Best is outstanding.
Hurdles:
School Records: Indoor 60, 8.17, Frosh 100 = 13.13, Outdoor = 12.76
School Records: Frosh = 57.10, AT = 53.21
Brittany McGee, Grad 13.91, 8.89i McGee has competed very little due to injuries. If healthy she’s our best heptathlon competitor. Her best would be # 10 AT at Stanford
Allie Jones, RS So 13.79 , 8.71
Mary Gillett, So 43.63 300m Hurdles.
Hope that Jones can equal her HS times.
4 X 100 Relay: School Record 44.07
If healthy Rossum, Best and Gamble are ¾ of an outstanding team.
4 X 400 Relay: School Record 3:29.39, 3:33.78 indoors
Best is very good and add Wilson but who else?

So disagree new guy except for the Olympic Trials and the Russian American meet. So very far away. We sat
So many great meets however. That’s for sure
T&F News has our Mens now Frosh class ranked the #1 recruiting class. Women are around 6-7
