Baseball -- one week out...will we hit? -

There really are so many question marks surrounding this team but the biggest is whether this team will hit enough to be successful. Lots of new faces and veterans still seeking to prove themselves will permeate the lineup. It could be ugly early as the staff figures out who will produce.
The only certainty, really, is Beck heading the weekend rotation. He has picked up a few MPHs and is a bulldog competitor. We have other pitchers who are decent but it's too early to get all excited about them. Palisch needs to be healthy, Williams needs to see if his mid-80s stuff will get hitters out on the weekend and the bullpen arms need to finish close games under pressure.
Honestly, if "Stanford" wasn't the name on the front of the jersey, I'm not sure any prognosticator would be picking this team to make a regional. I'm hopeful but wary.

Good news per an interview yesterday Williams is up about 4 mph. I think our pitching can be very good
Yes hitting a mystery. Hope for a big jump with Robinson and Brueser

BA has Stanford 4th and out of the top 25
Hitting the weakness of course.
Top 2020 draft choices
11. Palisch
12 Beck
13 Tawa
2021 top 10
10 Williams

Tawa the best prospect in my opinion. No one knows he played hurt all last year. Elite defensive outfielder with intriguing power/speed combination
