A THIRD QB.

We are now at 40 offers before 2021 hit 20, or 2019/20 hit 30. Uncharted territory.

I hope this means the staff is learning important lessons about recruiting.  Of course, it’s not just enough to offer; we have to stay on them to get admitted and get them to see what Stanford has to offer.

Another WR. 4.0 GPA and a track star: 10.93 100m, 22.50 200m, 6’0” high jump, 19’7” long jump as a freshman.
Very clear we want like 4 in 2022.

agreed BC.  spring OVs would be a welcomed change too.  56 official visits are allowed each cycle.  I am not sure we used half of the OV allotment in the last cycle.  OVs don't carryover so zero value in those unused.

Two 4* DL offers, from Kentucky and Indiana:

Nice!  Now let's see some of these offers get converted into commits! (I know it's early).

Whale ILB from NC. More defensive offers always welcome.

This makes 44 offers. Neither 2019 nor 2020 had hit 30 yet at this point. 2018's entire offer total was 51.

I believe Zion is the grandson of Raider WR legend Cliff Branch.

And I wondered if His son was about to goggle. Thanks

good to see the Branch offer.  I'd hope we'd soon offer teammate Cyrus Moss (an OLB/DE).  composite #26 nationally and reports a 4.0.  given our front 7 haul in '21, we'll certainly have room.

Younger brother of our rising soph OL Barrett Miller.

Barrett apparently has quite the drive (my wife and son spotted him practicing at the Stanford golf course over the week end).

An extremely speedy slot receiver.

Not bad, although his advantage in top end speed won't help all that much on a football field.  His first 20 meters were less impressive.

not sure based on angle.

10.2 would be fastest Stanford time ever.  Osaisai has the fastest time at 10.39

RE: Class of 2022 - BobK - 09-20-2020

Per both athletic net and mile split Thompson’s best is 10.44. This 10.18 must have been very windy. Of course he had an a short soph track season so one to watch for sure
