Actually, three of the photos are at Stanford. The editor must be an alumn or something. In any case, great slide show.

The connection may be the photographer. Philip Pacheco has a lot of pictures on Getty Images. His web page lists a 510 number. He appears to have visited campus March 9. Some of the same images appeared with Chronicle stories on Stanford. I have no idea whether it's a coincidence that there is a Pacheco listed in Stanford directory as a researcher in Physical science.

I found another of his Stanford pictures on the Denver Post site with the caption "Empty chairs and tables sit outside the usually bustling student union during a quiet morning at Stanford University on March 9, 2020 in Stanford, California. Stanford University announced that classes will be held online for the remainder of the winter quarter after a staff member working in a clinic tested positive for the Coronavirus." https://www.denverpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/1206287442.jpg?w=910
