that's what my 13 year old and those of her generation are calling this thing. At least she told me she'd come and visit me in the nursing home, if I last that long. . . .

I do wonder a bit given the conflict between millennials and boomers whether there is a thought running through millennial minds that this is some sort of karma.
I'm sort of stuck in the middle as a Gen Xer. I saw someone make the case that only us Gen Xers give a damned; playing into the stereotype, they made the case that boomers think its a hoax, and millenials don't give a crap because they are in the low risk group.

Oh I don’t think millenials use the term “Boomer Remover” to be cruel or to bully, like the way some people call them “snowflakes” or “soft” or “triggered.”
I don’t like the term because I could see it being upsetting, but I bet they use the term just because they are young and don’t know any better.
It’s like when I was a teenager, kids could drive at 16, and kids revved their engines and squealed their tires and at times drove loud and recklessly. They didn’t do it to upset old folks, or terrorize other drivers, or to be mean. They just did it because they were young and nothing was serious and they thought they were invincible.

Ok, guys, I get that dumping on millennials is national pastime at this point, but millennials aren't just "anyone young", they're people born from 1980-2000. Anyone less than 19 is Gen Z (or whatever they're calling it, that's what I've heard most), not a millennial.

Worth noting that a substantial number of patients hospitalized are millennials and Gen Xers., even if most of the deaths are among the older populations.
