Buddy Teevens ordered a few quick kicks from his QBs, but I'm guessing you mean starting QB and starting punter. Having said that, here is my favorite blocked QB punt of all time by one of my favorite Stanford players of the past 10 years:

As much as it pains me to remember this, I must issue a correction: It was the beloved Wlat Harris with the quick kick. Don't forget his call for centering the ball on 3rd and goal from the two.

Not sure if he ever started at QB, but Dave Ottmar punted in the early 70s.

Ottmar certainly punted but I really doubt he started a game. Maybe once due to injury. He was at Stanford for two years after JC.

My bad. Those lost five years with Teevens/Harris all meld into one horror show for me. So to clarify, the Stanford QB punting stats in 2006, courtesy of sports-reference.com:
Trent Edwards, 2 punts for a 55 yard average
T.C. Ostrander, 2 punts for a 44.5 yard average

Ottmar is correct. Started the Big Game in 1973 after Boryla had been hurt previously.
