After a tough to stomach episode, “mask it or casket” brought a smile to my face. Keep it up, please.

I should note that I didn't think I did a good job of explaining the scholarships that Stanford Athletics would still be honoring. Even worse, my math was off. So that part of the show has been re-cut & the episode has been re-posted with a better explanation and more accurate math. My apologies!

Troy - do I understand correctly that you said that the 240 affected athletes split 35.4 scholarships (acknowledging that some of those athletes compete in non-NCAA, non-scholarship sports)?

Basically, yes, as I understand it.
Now, based on the roster sizes of the sports being cut by Stanford that are also sponsored by the NCAA (and that have to adhere to their scholarship limits), perhaps it's more accurate to say that the equivalent of 35.4 full athletic scholarships is being split up by about 90 student-athletes (not sure what sort of other financial aid is available to the student-athletes in non-NCAA sponsored sports).
Point still remains that while about 240 student-athletes are reportedly affected, that does not mean that Stanford Athletics is going to be honoring 240 full-ride athletic scholarships.
