Reinfection Unlikely - dabigv13 - 07-22-2020

Two very good articles today from the NYT and WaPo that mirror my thinking and mentions some studies discussed previously on this board. The NYT one is better with the science while the WaPo one does drift into anecdotes. I have personal experience with one possible reinfection but on further investigation it seems either a false positive, or incidental shedding irrelevant to the reason for the hospitalization.

Some reason for optimism as our national daily death rate looks to stay above 1000 for the near future, like the prior peak of the outbreak. SoCal does look like it has plateaued from my vantage point. Hopefully starts to trend down in a sustained fashion.
