Stanford growing more pessimistic about fall quarter - chrisk - 07-23-2020

Stanford telling students to pack light and be flexible with fall housing and travel arrangements, depending on what state and county health regulations allow. Fewer students than planned may be allowed on campus and number of in-person classes may be further restricted. It plans to make a more definitive announcement in mid-to-late August.

In any case, on-campus behavior will be tightly regulated.
