I’ll offer some guesses
Women’s swimming
Maya Di Rada
Womens’ water polo:
Mackenzie Fischer
Aria Fischer
Brenda Villa?
One or two of the Neushal sisters-Kiley?
Men’s water polo
Ben Hallock ‘16
Tony Aczevedo?
Women’s golf
Albany Valenzuela ‘16
Men’s volleyball
Kawika Shoji?
Erik Shoji?
Womens’ volleyball
Foluke Akinwadero?
Womens’ pole vault
Katerina Stefandi?
Trying to think of athletes in dropped sports but coming up with a blank. I’d guess synchronized swimming, maybe field hockey?
Did we have a marathoner-Ryan Hall?
Do we count coaches? Was Greg Meehan on the swimming staff?

Yes on Katerina Stefanidi
And that's it for Track, MVB and WVB

Yes on Abane V who isn't on the list on gostanford, so 17 possible.
Missing 4 from dropped sports, not Field Hockey or synchronized swimming

Slapping my head on missing Steffens. I wasn’t sure on Ruck but that sounds right. If rowing or sailing are the dropped sports, I’m out.

No women's soccer? I would think we would have a player or two on the Olympic team.
Or is the trivia referencing "current" (at the time) Stanford students?

Austin Hack, men's rowing.
The AD presser says Stanford had 39 athletes in Rio: [url=https://gostanford.com/news/2016/8/21/athletics-bound-for-rio.aspx]https://gostanford.com/news/2016/8/21/athletics-bound-for-rio.aspx
I looked because 16 seemed low. Five were incoming, and two were former club sport competitors. Another five were a paralympian, two coaches, a team physician, and an alternate.

Christen Press '11 Women's Soccer United States
Ali Riley '10 Women's Soccer New Zealand

Using the go Stanford list was stupid on my part. Damn thought I had a good trivia question. Just didn’t know the answer at all. Thanks for adding the correct answers
