so what's everyone doing with their football season ticket membership
- donating it to the AD?
- rolling it over to 2021?
- getting a refund?
I'm rolling mine over to 2021, but I already made my small annual Buck/Cardinal gift for this year and did not want to increase it, otherwise I would have probably donated part of the cost.

Football donate to the Buck Cardinal which is due Sept anyway.
Women’s Volleyball don’t know yet

Presciently didn't re-up my season tickets, so I don't face the dilemma.

First in line for the refund. My donations go to Gator Nation because they don't have an athletic endowment and nothing remotely close to a booster club.

Rollover but plan to make my same annual Buck Club contribution. Same with Women's Volleyball and will be same for Women's basketaball. I'm unhappy with Stanford for cutting sports without giving them, and us, a chance to rescue them. However, I don't want to punish the student athletes for that. I have relayed my concerns to the administration and plan to keep doing so through other means and contacts. The idea that we can go back to a skeleton athletic department and still be successful is naive. The only option where that is true is if we drop to division 2 or 3 and, for now, I don't want that to happen.
Cheers,
Pete F.

When I declined to renew in April, my rep offered me the following, which I accepted on the spot:
$200 donation for 2020 to Buck Cardinal Club
$200 refundable deposit on 2021 season tix to hold my seats.
Looking forward next season.
Geaux Cardinal!

My heart says donate, but my mind may decide to opt for the rollover.
A refund just can't be the path for me if I am going to claim to be a supporter of the Stanford Athletic department. This year is going to have epic costs and very little revenue for every college athletic department.
Every school in the nation will need a lot of additional financial help from their alums and friends to make it through this year, and it will be a tough year for many of those alums and friends to gift money to schools.
It will be a tough stretch for us in the USA even if things don't get a lot worse with the pandemic from here.

Rollover. Already paid it, won't starve without it, one less thing to worry about next time there is a season.

1) If allowed, use the deposit to purchase MBB season tickets.
2) Roll over to next year.

I'll probably donate. The idea of using the money on season tickets for a different sport (for the next season that allows fans, anyway) is interesting, though. Could be MBB or WVB.

I attended Stanford on an athletic scholarship. 100% donated. Stay safe and hopefully will see the boys next year!

I siphoned off some of it for my annual Buck/Cardinal Club donation and put the rest toward next season

Refund. I am involved in fundraising for one of the cut sports to keep them alive as a club so I am going to focus my $ there. They need it more than football or Buck/Cardinal. It is a matter of survival for that sport.

Rollover, but will increase my annual donation to the Buck Club when I donate to the university.

That was my original plan, but I decided (perhaps naively) to give the administration a chance to "do the right thing" and give the programs that were cut a chance to preserve themselves. If they stick with the "we had to do it for financial reasons, but there is no amount of money that can change our minds" nonsense, the University has just seen my last donation (after nearly 3 decades of continuous loyalty): I'm rolling the FB ticket cost to next season, and converted my preferred seating donation to an outright Buck/Cardinal donation for this year... largely for the reasons that Farm93 noted (and because I want them to be rewarded for - hopefully - reconsidering a decision that seems to have been made in haste).

A note for all the Buck Cardinal period ends the end of August, so if you paid this year you may have paid twice . Talk to Development. I did so went to 2020-21
